While traditional seafaring skills are still very important, seafarers also need to learn how AI works, where it is used on board, and how to use it safely

The course aims to provide a basic understanding of AI and to show you how to use it by writing clear prompts for AI tools like Large Language Models (LLMs). It also covers important topics like data privacy and the ethical use of AI
