Description

The STCW FPFF Refresher Training course provides updated training in fire prevention and firefighting, following the guidelines of STCW 78/95, Section A-VI/1 and IMO Model Course 1.20. It ensures participants meet the required standard of competence in preventing and responding to shipboard fires.

Upon successful completion, trainees will be competent to take appropriate measures for the safety of personnel and ship, use firefighting appliances correctly, and maintain awareness of fire prevention techniques.

Practical Part & Required Documents

The FPFF refresher includes a practical component and is conditionally approved by Liberia. Its acceptance requires signed attestations and supporting documents:

• Self-attestation: Signed after ordering
• Onboard attestation: Signed by the Master, Chief Mate, Chief Engineer, Second Engineer, or DPA confirming practical skills
• Passport copy: Required upon order (PDF/PNG/JPG, scanned or clear photo)
